Child & Adolescent Therapy

Is your child having a hard time managing big emotions, handling frustration, or coping with anxiety?

They’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.

With the right support, children can learn to better understand their feelings and build skills to face life’s challenges with more confidence.

Therapy That Meets Your Child Where They Are

Children often make sense of their world in ways that go beyond words. A playful, creative, and flexible approach—using tools like games, art, movement, or storytelling—can help them express themselves and engage in meaningful growth.

When supported in a compassionate, collaborative, and neuroaffirming environment, children are more likely to feel safe, respected, and understood.

  • Child Therapy

For younger children, therapy is most effective when families are actively involved. Regular check-ins and collaborative strategies help reinforce skills at home, creating consistency and support across environments. I prioritize actively communicating with families about the skills being taught in sessions and offer guidance on how to support your child at home.

Sessions are typically 45 minutes and include parent check-ins as needed to support progress outside of therapy.

  • Adolescent Therapy

As adolescents navigate increased independence, peer dynamics, and emotional growth, therapy offers a private space to build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence. While family involvement remains valuable, a balance is maintained to honor the adolescent’s need for privacy and autonomy.

Sessions are typically 45 minutes and include parent check-ins as needed to support progress outside of therapy.
